Blues Art for Auction

We have two lovely hand-painted portraits available for silent auction at the event.

These portraits of B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughan were created and donated to us by Mr. Hightower, an inmate at Marion Correctional Institute. Our station touched him so much that he put on a blues concert for us at MCI and then surprised us with these portraits. He wants us to auction them off to raise money for our station and our charitable initiative to give free music lessons to children in Marion. The portraits are approximately 2-ft by 3-ft.

Please place a bid on these portraits that will be on display during our festival. There will be a table near our WDIF-LP merchandise table with forms.

The auction will be open until 9:00pm. We will announce the winners of the auction before the main event. If you’re not present, no problem! We’ll call. If for any reason the top bid is unable to complete the transaction, we will contact the next highest bid.

Please help us raise money for our station and cause by placing a bid on one or both of these portraits.
